Date: 9 April 2007Eaton Corporation to Present at BladeSystems Insight 2007 PITTSBURGH … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that Sriram Ramakrishnan, business unit manager for Eaton’s Power Quality Protection Division, will deliver a presentation highlighting power protection architectures for today’s high-density data centers at the BladeSystems Insight summit April 10-12 in Savannah, GA. In a presentation titled, “Flexible Power Architecture for Your Dynamic Data Center,” Ramakrishnan will address an audience of senior level IT professionals to discuss the impact of new technology deployments in today’s data center and the related impact on power protection and management. The presentation will introduce a power protection architecture from Eaton’s Data Center Solutions Group that is benchmarked against existing products in the marketplace in terms of energy efficiency, availability and flexibility. “As data centers increasingly deploy high-density, small form factor computing platforms such as blade server technology, power density, energy efficiency and cooling are becoming highly-critical requirements,” said Ramakrishnan. “Through Eaton’s participation in Blade Systems Insight 2007, we will share best practices that address the challenges of designing and managing electrical systems for today’s data centers.” BladeSystems Insight is a new strategic business forum for data center, network and IT executives.
